sick

so - here it is, the big day of the Sackler School Relays (my graduate school). I've signed up to participate in the bike race and the volleyball games, I thought it would be fun. The problem is, I awoke at 6am (after going to bed past 1am) because my throat hurt so friggin much. I think I have strep throat - woo hoo! Called the doctor even, but they say I can only go in on saturdays if its an emergency, not for a sore throat - grrr - and I can't make it in today cause its too far away. How much does that suck!? So, hopefully I'll feel better before my race at 1pm...but I probably won't. At least I have an easy morning at work.
